* Installation of the MiLR segment requires the purchase of third party hardware, and may incur delays.

** Covers the monthly cost for a fiber circuit between the campus location and the U-M MiLR Node, and the cost of one MiLR segment. The path from Ann Arbor to Chicago requires TWO MiLR segments to complete because signal regeneration is necessary in East Lansing, so that path costs more. Repair on the campus fiber circuit is performed on a Time and Materials basis.
